Davis Corley
Bio
Davis Corley is a songwriter, musician, and poet from the Appalachian foothills of East Tennessee. The son of a music pastor and a ceramic potter, he was raised in a creatively rich home that fostered an early appreciation for lyricism, melody, and the art of storytelling. At just ten years old, a visit to the Bluebird Cafe with his father sparked a defining moment—one that set his sights firmly on becoming a Nashville songwriter.
While his peers gravitated toward contemporary Top-40 hits, Davis immersed himself in the great American songwriters, studying their work from past to present with the hope of one day standing among them.
“I’ve always loved a wide variety of music, as long as it moved me,” Corley says. “But more often than not, it was Country music that told the stories I wanted to tell. That’s what always made Nashville the destination in my mind—it truly is the capital of musical storytelling.” Remaining in his beloved home state of Tennessee only strengthened that pull.
Known for his depth of thought, creative perspective, and unwavering dedication to craft, Davis has become a sought-after co-writer and multi-instrumentalist. His songs have been recorded by Luke Bryan, Ella Langley, Randall King, Cooper Alan, Trey Lewis, Will Jones, and others.
